Experience
BBC South West, 2018
With this role, I had done some research for a story that the BBC had brought to me. This included interviewing, researching and presenting my findings to the BBC.
The Guardian sports desk, 2016
My week long work placement at The Guardian was very rewarding as they taught me key journalistic skills to take into my career. I wrote pieces for the 'Today's television' section in the newspaper. I would also help editors and writers on the sports desk with stories.
Plymouth Raiders, 2016 - 2017
During the 2016/17 season, I volunteered at Plymouth Raiders' media department, I started in September 2016. Here I have interviewed the players and coaches, commentate live for all the home games and write match reports.
Plymouth Argyle FC, 2014 - 2016
I have spent two separate weeks of work placement at Plymouth Argyle's media department. Here they got me involved in updating/editing the club website. Going to the press conferences, writing for the match-day program and having my written stories published on their website.
